Great service, personable interactions with the service counter, and relatively quick turn-around. Communication could have been a little better about needing an extra half-day (there was no communication).

Went to PCAW for the first time after the worst dealership service in my many years of car ownership. Excellent customer service from the front desk to the mechanics. Very clear communication, no pushy sales tactics. Everything is expensive nowadays, but I am 100% sure I saved hundreds compared to the dealership. What dealership, you ask? I don't remember, as they are fully dead to me. Somewhere on the Windward side, near a shopping center with a Ross's, McD's, Foodland, and a Kozo.

I am new in hawaii. I searched google for a shop near me in Pearl City. Pearl City Auto Works had a rating of 4.9/5 so I decided to have an appointment today July 21 2026 at 8am. Staff was very accommodating. They asked what troubles I am having with my car. That it would take atleast 2 hours to fix it. I said I'll wait. After half an hour their chief mechanic I assume went inside the office and ask more info on what I am experiencing. Another hour passes and he came to tell me that I may be having other issues which may be causing my concern. After our chat they sent me a full detailed inspection of my vehicle. A list of what are good, needs immediate attention and future maintenance. And what surprises me the most is that I was not charge for the service/inspection they did...amazing. No wonder they are one of the best. Much thanks to Keoki. Ill be back for the suggested repairs. Mahalo PCAW.

My main concern is when I specifically wanted to talk to the mechanic who worked on my vehicle the first time no one listened. Everyone was playing mechanic and telling this and that was wrong and the story was always changing so that made me suspicious . Anyway I took it to another shop and spoke with a head mechanic and he looked it over the work that was done and explained to me this and that no runaround everything looks as it should . Now thats what I call service listen and do what the customer ask .Thats all
